I can't believe a whole year has gone by since we were blessed with Jed! He is such a fun baby and brings so much happiness to our home. Thank you to all who helped celebrate Jed on his birthday...Twice! Jed had two first birthdays! The first one was on his birthday at Ashley's house. We had an awesome dinner (thank you Ashley) we blew bubbles, jumped on the tramp, wore Craig out :) and had a great time visiting and hanging out.
Then it was time for cake! Ashley (again thank you!) had made this cute monkey cake! We sang happy birthday and he clapped and was all excited. Ashley offers him this whole gorgeous cake, and he won't eat it! So we cut him off a piece and he plays with it for a minute but still won't eat it.
So Emersyn gets tired of watching this amateur and decides to show him how it is done! She ate two pieces of cake! That is a smart girl!
I decided to give him some ice-cream so he could have a treat on his birthday. You can't tell here but he actually enjoyed it!
In the end the bottle is always best though!
This was his second first birthday party with the grandparents, and Julie and Rene at home. He still is not excited about cake!
He really got excited about his presents though and he had a great time opening them. It has been fun to watch him with his new toys. He loves playing with them and that means more free time for me!
All the kids were good sports and wore party hats for this last cute picture!

So cute! I want pictures from you of that week, because I didn't get ANY! I loved celebrating your birthday's while you were here. It was such a good time. I still can't believe how crazy that boy is about cake, but Emersyn ate enough for us all right?!
Awww.. How fun. I can't believe he is one also. Looks like there was some awesome celebration for that little man! Aren't we all so blessed to have him in our family... Love you guys! Don't worry jed, Mitchel doesn't like the cake thing either.
It was a lot of fun! Dinner was sooo yummy, don't know if I'll be able to eat it again for a while though, doesn't sound to good after being sick! :( I'm so glad you were here and had so much fun!
I can't believe he is a year old already. What a cute cake Ashley made, I am impressed.
