Halloween

We had such a fun Halloween, but first I have to say that we really missed our family who could not be at our very last minute party! (Cory, Kristen, Mitchel, Chelsey, we missed you and we love you!) We managed to cram a lot into just a few days. We carved pumpkins, made cute lanterns (which I forgot to get a picture of) and created numerous yummy treats. We had a birthday party for dad where Tom cooked the best carne asada ever, the boys all went to the BSU football game, and we all went trick-or-treating. We also managed to watch a few scary movies, and hang out and laugh! Here are just a few pics of the fun, although I was so busy having fun I forgot to take pictures half the time!
Kira and Reese loved pulling the guts out of their pumpkins, Jed just wanted to chew on his!

Ashley being very artistic, and looking great at the same time!

It was such a nice afternoon we went out to play in the leaves! Poor Jed had to borrow Reese's jacket...still a little big!

The kids decorated sugar cookies! They were covered in candy and were very delicious!

Reese is so silly, he doesn't like frosting, so his cookies were decorated a little differently!
Adi is a big believer in sprinkles!
We also made magic wands that you could eat!
Ashley (now known as the Halloween Nazi) insisted that we all dress up! She even got Tom into a costume! Gayle was a very cute witch, Kira was also a witch. We had a clown, a roman goddess, a gladiator, a ninja, a princess, a penguin and a bumblebee. I am not sure what I am, but it was a very cool cape!

The grandkids sitting around wondering where their favorite cousin Mitchel was. (Missed you buddy, but hope you had a great Halloween!)

Soccer

Reese just finished the fall season of soccer. He had a great coach and a great year. It was fun to watch him increase his skills and confidence on the field. The thing I noticed the most this year is the kids are finally getting the hang of positions, passing, and team playing. It was so rewarding to watch the kids work together and have so much fun at the same time. These were my two favorite pictures of the year!
