In order to atone for my poor blogging skills, I am now going to overload you with news of my family! I hope that you will be able to make it to the end of what is likely going to be the longest blog of my history!
We bought Jed a baby swing that we can hang up and he loves it! I can send all three kids out and they will play for hours outside. That swing is going to be my sanity this summer!
Kira received a 1st in her solo, a 1st and National Champion for their age group in her Cheer Leading Dance and a 2nd in her other dance. It was a really great year for her and she is looking forward to doing it again next year. I am proud of her for all her hard work and I am glad that she enjoys it.
This is Kira at her 3rd grade musical program. She was a gardener. She played a piano solo and blew everyone away, including us! She never even told us she was playing a solo, we just showed up and saw her name on the program. She is pretty independent and sneaky!
When we went to Lagoon, Ashley came down with her girls and spent the weekend with us! It was a hard trip for her with 2 babies and lots of busy, but we had fun. The kids especially enjoyed seeing each other. Jed and Emersyn were playing the funniest game of taking things out of each other's hands. We tried to get a picture of it but they were distracted by the camera!
All the kids on the bed waiting for the pool to open! Poor Adi tried to drown herself by flinging herself into the hot tub. I think Ashley was very traumatized but I think they are all OK now!
Jed did great at Lagoon and pretty much just hung out in his stroller. We walk every morning so he is getting better at staying in his stroller.
While I stayed with Kira and helped her get ready for all her dancing, Ashly and Tom took the kids to ride some rides. Adi was a little nervous to ride without her mom. She started out the day with sunscreen in her eyes, and was a little emotional. But I think she still had fun.
Reese just had his birthday and is now 7! He grew 2 inches last year, and leaps and bounds in other ways! He is an awesome big brother and is just loving school. This is his 1st grade teacher Mrs. Clark. She is great. Reese played soccer this year and enjoyed that. He is a great half-back. He is starting baseball (coach pitch) and is a great hitter. I think he will have a fun year. He also played piano and has really done well. He has his recital tonight and hopefully that will be a good experience. More on that later. I am so proud of Reese. He is a good boy with a big heart and a very mischievous spirit! Love him to pieces!
