Fun in the Sun

The weather has been so nice we have been spending some much needed time together in the yard just playing.

There is nothing like a good tickle match on the tramp!

Jed has been enthralled by the pond lately. He will stand out there for an hour just watching the fish and throwing things in. Of course I have to be right there or he would throw himself in!

Another favorite pastime! Eating nasty things.

Jed's favorite buddy is Lindy. He gets so excited every time he sees her, and she seems happy about all the love.

Bath time is getting crazy! He loves to throw himself down and make a big splash. Then he rolls over and over like a croc in a death roll. He loves to put his face in the water and has no fear! It gets to be quite wet.

School Already!

The summer went by way to fast! I am not ready to give my kids back yet! We decided to have one last day at the local pool before we had to start the dreaded "fall schedule". We had a great time. Jed is a total water baby, and has no fear at all! He will try to squirm out of my arms so he can duck his face in the water and then he pops up squealing and laughing. So funny!

Of course no matter how much I would have liked to put it off the 1st day of school came! I put this picture in so you could see Kira's shoes. We spent a LONG time looking for "just the right pair of shoes" this year. It is fun to see them both growing up and having very specific opinions on things!

I love that toothless grin of Reese's. The are both so darling! (OK I might be a bit biased!) Anyway, we are in our second week of school and things are going great. They both love their teachers and are having lots of fun. Poor Jed however is very bored and misses his personal entertainers! He has kept his mom very busy this week!
