What an amazing day! We feel so blessed right now! Jed was born at 11:18 a.m. on August 1, 2008. He weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. He has a little dimple in his chin and he is the cutest thing! He was really sleepy yesterday but he did wake up long enough to meet his new brother and sister. Kira and Reese were so cute with him. They are excited to bring him home! Hopefully this will be Sunday morning. Thank you all for your love and support. It means the world to our family right now!
Oh my goodness what a beautiful MIRACLE. My heart and ALL my tears of joy are with you. This has brought back so many memories! WE love you and your WHOLE family! YOu all look perfect. Thanks for the pictures!
Oh Shana, I am so happy that convention was this weekend and I decided to go so that I could meet my new little nephew! He is absolutely beautiful, and the way it all fell right into place is nothing short of a miracle, but surely a blessing! I already love him so much! He is so handsome, and your family looks so happy, I'm so happy. I love you guys!
He is sooo beautiful Shana! I'm so excited for you guys and I can't wait to come down and meet him! We are probably going to come down Labor day since thats when everyone else is coming and we can see everyone and meet Jed. We are so happy for you and we love you!
Shana, Ashley told me the good news and told me to check out the blog for pictures. I hope you don't mind. I just can't believe what an absolute miracle you've just been blessed with. It's proof there is indeed a God who loves and cares for us, isn't it? It's just so wonderful and I am so happy for your family. It's funny because last Thursday my mom and I were talking and I asked her if you were still planning on adopting or had given up and she told me of the frustrating time you had had doing so (a lot of families in my old ward adopted and almost all who went through LDS Services were frustrated with the process). Anyway, I'm rambling, but it was just two days later that I learned you had Jed in your arms. Wow. It's simple amazing. BTW, I'm Caleb's sister, in case you were wondering, but I'm sure you remember me:) Right? :)
Ariana - thanks for your sweet comment! Of course I remember you! We are having an amazing week and I am glad you got to see the photo's. Like any new mom I am anxious to show him off. Thanks again.
Congratulations Shana and Tom, Kira and Reece. We are all so happy for you. What a wonderful miracle Heavenly Father has given you. Your story is amazing, and it couldn't have happend to a better family. Jed is beautiful!
I love bieng a mom! My family is my greatest joy. I am happiest when we are together doing fun things, or just working in the yard together. We love to go camping, fishing, riding the 4-wheeler, hiking, or anything else outside. When I have time on my own (ha ha) I love to read, play the piano, or listen to music. I love children and I volunteer at school twice a week. The busier I am the happier I am.
